That's actually a really good idea :D
I usually try setting goals for myself, too. But sometimes I get too lazy to follow-through, so I have a back-up list of things I'll settle for accomplishing in one day o.o

This is true. It is mostly about the discussion. But I don't think you can have a meaningful discussion unless you learn the basics, you know? How to analyze plot and characters and different literary devices. But I might have to get into a book club one day. I don't have many friends I can talk to about books, either

My point exactly! It's not whether or not you LOVE it, it's whether or not it helps you in the long run. Reading Shakespeare may not seem important, but you'd never realize how much it still influences the world :/
