I drove by this on my way home from Iowa City. It looked bad, but definitely survivable. Drivers will probably have a bad case of whiplash and frayed nerves. Not sure how it happened, but car 2 rear-ended car 1 with so much force that car 1's back tires were on the windshield of car 2! Car 3 clipped the end of car 2. Airbags deployed in car 2.

Right two lanes are closed while they clean up the scene. Northbound on-ramp (Wilson Ave) closed. Drive safe, everyone and stay alert!
