<description>Talal Maddah (1939-2000) (Arabic: طلال مدَّاح) was a popular legend and well-known Saudi musician and singer. He was named Maddah after his Mother&amp;#039;s family. His fans coined the nickname the voice of Earth (Arabic: صوت الارض) for him ,and he is also known by The Golden Throat (Arabic: الحنجرة الذهبية).  Maddah collapsed and died suddenly on Al Meftaha Stage (Arabic: مسرح المفتاحة) in front of his fans shortly after he performed an intro to one of his oldie famous songs. The concert was aired live on Saudi National Television. Later on, the official Saudi News Agency declared a statement confirming his death and made an attribute to him and to his legacy.  Maddah&amp;#039;s funeral was held in the city of Jeddah.
