I love your post as well, Rand! Here's my analogy.

And I love you both for your ways of thinking!

(But i REALLY hope they don't burn my Quran because it's digital and on my computer. Then I wouldn't be able to use my computer to share the similarities of our religions, bridging divides.)

this is the reason i write. my thoughts are MUCH clearer on paper than the ethereal tongue. try ordering takeout when you can't speak that person's language on the phone. even worse.

Rand, good post as always. But I must say on number six, they are not dancing between the tables they dance ON the tables! (Most of my husband's family's weddings are mixed and he actually broke his sister's leg by dancing on the table! That wedding ended with a BANG!)

I liked your poem/story. I have never had the patience to try to find a home for things, so I put it on the curb with a sign that says FREE in large bold letters and am thrilled to know someone who needed it was able to just pick it up and take it home.
