Seders can be really fascinating and fun, and yeah, the idea of all those people around the world celebrating is definitely powerful and comforting. Thanks for reading! :)

Thank you! I personally always love having non-Jewish people at seders, and I know a lot of fellow Jews feel the same way! It's fun to see people experience it, tbh! (Then again, I am not at all religious, it's more cultural for me, so that probably is part of it!)

Just wanted to give y'all a brief, post-surgery update. I am doing well, and can walk around now without getting winded! I am still in Virginia, staying with my boyfriend, though I fly home this Sunday (boo). I started working again, albeit from home (well, his home) and appear to be in the stage where I am mostly okay but sitting upright like that for several hours in a row makes my abdominal muscles ache still, ugh. On the other hand, I have a pretty cool scar I guess.

It really is baffling honestly.

Thank you, though! I feel so much better having it out, honestly. I'm tired all the time, sure, but that's to be expected and honestly even as tired as I am, I feel better than I did before.

It's like two babies apparently. One of the nurses said that to me, I was like, yuppp. My stomach feels so flat. I'm doing well, though. Just tired all the time.

They had to tell me several times before I grasped it. And then I thoroughly enjoyed telling every new nurse I got at the hospital just to see the reaction.

I think it's just too big. The original plan was tiny cuts to drain it and then remove it, but the new surgeon (gyno oncologist, not cancer, he just has more experience) wants to just go through my abdomen and remove it and the ovary. My parents and sister have been going to all my appointments tho, and will be helping me out after so there is that.

Good to know! I think someone else mentioned that, too. I will keep it in mind.

You're welcome, and thanks! Yeah, reading about that medical school, oy vey. So much eye-rolling at that man.

Still not over birth as a "simple, mechanical process."
