Neither is acceptable. In 1969, my own HS graduation remarks were censored regarding the Vietnam War and other political issues. I *thought* we had progressed a bit more than this case shows... The principal should do the honorable thing and resign, as he is clearly unworthy of his current responsibilities and cannot fulfill them adequately.
