Your B&W photos are arresting. That headless lady in white is dark and eerie, but I like it best! :) As for your self-portrait, you may be haggard but there's a certain calmness defines your face, like you're sleepless yet fulfilled.

I love photo booths as well, especially those that come with "props" like wigs and funny hats. It's a fun memento from a birthday party that we'd otherwise forget about the next week. Btw, your family looks lovely! :)

I just tried last night at our neighborhood MiniStop. I was shocked when I paid for it that it costs P55! Too pricey, I think (kuripot much, haha). And I'm not so much into dark choco so it was too rich for me. I'd rather have pinipig crunch next time. :)

Lucky (and pretty!) daughter! She'll really appreciate this when she's a lot older. My mom kept a baby book for me and I cherish it to this day. It's filled with little things that could've gotten lost and forgotten through the years. Great idea, Mary!

I love this advice. :) It's true for me. Stress zaps my neurons and summoning my creativity when I have a million and one things cluttered in my head is next to impossible. I find that I'm most productive on lazy days. (Btw, not a pro, just someone who likes to write online.)

Thank you for sharing, Mary. The old photos are wonderful! It's a good place to start telling your children about their family history. And this will somehow connect them to world history. Happened to me. After knowing what my grandparents went through during the world wars, the events ceased being merely history, but also part of my personal history. And your tribute to your mom is both eloquent and heartfelt. I teared up reading it.
