It can happen rarely, if a teacher works an overload and takes on a ton of other responsibilities, but that's usually for a year, IF it happens at all. There's nothing right about how public education is funded. How can poor districts compete with wealthy districts? It just widens the divide. Now we have a state politican who is writing legislature to privitize teachers, so essentially, districts can hire teachers from a private firm . . . and pay them next to nothing. It's so offensive and so wrong.
