Fabulously Broke in the City : Would you let your parents move in with you?

I'm the same as your number one and two responses: It's not even an option and I've been brought up from a very young age to expect this inevitability.
Fabulously Broke in the City : You can't just up and quit, conflict is a part of life

I completely agree with you on every point, I think our generation has been spoilt to the point where they feel like they can and have every right to just up and quit when things get hard/don't go their way. Handling it any differently would totally have resulted in career suicide especially, if you work in a small or well connected field. Everyone always knows everyone.
The Everyday Minimalist : Fast Food Ads versus Reality

These images are so disgusting...yet so funny at the same time! Good thing I don't ever eat at any of those restaurants.
Fabulously Broke in the City : December 2010 Budget Roundup: +$20,355.57

First, I agree with Investing Newbie - net worth post are more for the author than for readers, having said that, I personally love you net worth posts and would be disappointed if you stopped. Secondly, I think you (and those who think these types of posts are bragging) are forgetting that you've been doing this now for YEARS. You didn't just start saving money like a mad woman (that's a complement!), and living like a minimalist yesterday - ergo, yeah your net worth is going to be higher than theirs. If they want to feel better about themselves they should read your earlier posts when you were getting out of 60K in debt. I'm not saying that as a knock on those people, I'm just saying that context is everything and it's useless to compare yourself to others especially when you haven't battled as hard and as long as they have. IMHO Now on to more important things: what are you going to buy first now that the shopping ban has ended? My recent post Happy Twenty-Eleven!

The Everyday Minimalist : Review: AwesomeNotes Application for the iPod Touch 4th Generation 64GB

Completely agree with you on this review, Awesome Notes is pretty comprehensive, pretty and very easy to use. Also agree with you on that I hate the idea of having to back up my information online only - so my question is, how do you back up your data? I haven't done it yet because I don't know any alternative (to online storage) so now I'm just hoping I never run into problems with my phone or else everything will be lost...not the most reliable method. My recent post Happy Twenty-Eleven!
