Actually, Being a sister in law means nothing of the sort. Pippa Middleton isn't a Princess just because Catherine is.

You have to either be born with the title, given it by a royal, or marry into a family. Shining armor married into the family, not Twilight. Though to be honest, he shouldn't have the title of Prince (though we hear Twilight call him Prince in The Crystal Empire). In European models, if a woman holds her own rank and she marries a man of lower-rank, he does not automatically hold her title. He must be given his own title. Same reason why Prince Philip is not King of the United Kingdom despite being married to Queen Elizabeth II.

Hopefully they will find their story in one of the older pony collectors from the 1980s and 1990s. They are the ones with the truly huge collections in most cases. ...and then they'll try and get them to comment on the bronies, not realizing that the two tend to be very different.

...And because River is from the future as far as we know, she could find out what Amy and Rory named their baby, about the Forest Gamma's language and name herself after the child? And create a whole elaborate ruse? I would not put it past Moffat - Not because I feel like I know his writing style but because this episode did seem "easy". I agree with that.

I'm not one to theorize.. I just don't pay attention to anything and pretty much watch each episode only one time so.. Yeah I'm just going to agree. I can't elaborate or answer any of these hypothetical questions. :/
