Body is very light, but some compact Pentax bodies have been smaller in some dimensions while including in-body SR, in-body AF motor, and AA battery capability. Anyway, congrats to Canon, it looks better than what I thought they could pull off. Handling will still probably be reasonable with their smaller lenses like kit zooms, fast 50, and that 40/2.8. As compromised as ergonomics might be, may not compare so badly against m4/3 cameras.

Like Feedly's browser extensions for Firefox & Safari but don't care much for their mobile app. Never cared for Google Reader except as a back end for Feedly.

Very light, mostly at the expense of battery life (and grip). Not much smaller than many of Pentax's DSLRs, and Canon offers very few compact lenses. It will still probably sell though, and I imagine it will handle acceptably with the kit lenses, fast 50, and that 40/2.8. Pentax's compact bodies have been heavier in part due to in-body SR and AF motor, and most also made space for 4xAA batteries.
