I basically write whenever I want. Or whenever inspiration strikes which is basically once in a blue moon but yeah. I guess I write most in the evening and at night. When I don't have school I'll stay up until like 2 a.m. writing. Whoops.

The sister relationship in this book was by far my favorite part. Close relationships with siblings always get to me as well, and this was definitely one of them. I gave it four stars, but because I had a hard time really connecting and feeling the characters emotionally. I can see how it got kind of boring at the end. It was kind of dragged out a bit too much. But other than that, I really liked this book!

Cats are the best! <3 One of the things I'm most thankful for is that my dad finally let me actually get a cat. ^_^ I'm super grateful for my laptop, too, but no phone for me yet. There are too many things that I'm thankful for though, but my mom and dad and my little sister are defintly at the top of my list. I'm also grateful for Hamilton because it has introduced me to all sorts of other amazing broadway and musical theater shows!

Your cat is the absolute cutest! I have a little (I guess she's not that little, she's getting quite big) black and white kitten named Mittens because her little white paws look like mittens. I almost named her Winter after The Lunar Chronicles, but decided to just call her Mittens instead. My family also has a red healer named Aussie! I have all sorts of names for my future cats though that you can see here: http://glitteringreads.com/2016/10/18/ten-wonderf...

Great list, these all sound like awesome books/are awesome books! I absolutely LOVED My Lady Jane. It's definitely on my top ten books ever. I really want to read Beast, Time Keeper, Frost Blood, and Daughter of the Pirate King. I'm so jealous you have all those ARCS!

Great review, it seems like an interesting book for sure! I'm not the biggest dystopian fan in general, but I still like the genre. I would much rather read a fantasy or sci-fi though. I will say I don't really like rushed romances, so it's too bad Cosmo and Mona's felt like it. Characters who know too much that's convenient to the plot are so annoying as well. This still seems like na interesting book, I'll have to check it out sometime.

Whoa, how did I not even know Maggie Stiefvater had another series??? I only knew about Shiver, The Raven Boys, and The Scorpio Races. I really just want to binge read all of her books right now. XD I'm glad to see you enjoyed The Hidden Oracle (I looooved that one) and Cursed Child! Most of the reviews surrounding it are all pretty low, so it's nice to see that you really liked it. Great post though, and I hope you're September is a great one! <3

Salt to the Sea was such a beautiful and heartbreaking book. I loved every bit of it. My favorite character was Emilia as well, and the ending just got me so choked up. Her story was just so horrible and heartbreaking, it's terrible to think she was only fifteen (sixteen?) at the time. Great review, and i'm glad to see you enjoyed this one as much as I did.

Books set in space are sooo cool. I haven't read nearly as many as I would like to, though. These Broken Stars has been on my TBR list for the longest time, and I absolutely loved Cress/Winter and the space setting. Great list, by the way!

Oooh, I love Goodreads! I just think it's so fun, getting to share the books your reading with other people and being able to keep track of what you read. I've only been using it since February, but it's saved my life this year now that I've gotten into reading as much as I have. I probably would have lost count of how many books I've read ages ago if it weren't for Goodreads.
