I love it! And the fact they're all grown makes it even better. I agree with Darren, a recreation of this some years on would be a great photo project
This is so true! Maddie had researched all the shops, unbeknownst to me, before we went, and had a huge list of places she needed to shop at, that I'd never heard of. I didn't know about Sephora before New York, but I spent hours looking at makeup, when I hadn't planned to. And I'm with you on the Starbucks - who knew a coffee could be created in so many ways!
This is really handy for next time I'm away Cass, thank you. I sometimes feel like it's not worth going away with the amount of work I do beforehand to make life easy for my family. But you're right, left to their own devices it would be pizza every night!
Oh what a lovely idea for a party! My daughter would love that unicorn, and she's 12!
Oh Cass we are so in the same place right now! I have never once worried about my eyebrows but I'm becoming a bit of a perfectionist now my daughter has enlightened me to what's not only possible, but vital before I come into contact with any of her friends. And how did I live without contour...!?
I completely agree. And I feel actually quite sad about your box of photos. I have a similar one, but my kids won't have the same, as everything is digital nowadays. I feel like I should make an effort to print lots off and chuck them in an old biscuit tin just so they can have the same experience some day! Can't wait to find out what you get up to in New York!
Oh my god this is such a useful list! I had no idea about clearing my cache, and I'd never thought of the cheaper products being on the middle shelf, but it stands to reason. I want to print this and memorise it!
My daughter is always desperate for me to do her hair in the mornings and there's never time. I'm going to make more effort to do it for her, and make her feel good about herself
Even more reasons to keep loving S Club 7 in the face of derision! Love it :)
I absolutely love that you did this Cass, it's made me want to do similar with my daughter. The hotel looks lovely and I think at their age, it's important to force a bit of one-on-one time. I can't think of a better way to do it. What would bother me is how I'd repay my son, as this probably wouldn't be his cup of tea. Maybe the football...
