its not weed , they only give a fine for that in wwe.
it sounds like wwe is more open to have open contracts with some talents that let them work nxt and still work in the indies
this is the qualifying for the tournament , the tournament that will air on the wwe network will be filmed at full sail where nxt is also filmed. so they will get the nxt crowd pop , and the wwe style production, but it would be cool if wwe has camera's at the qualifying events and show highlights of them on the tournament show.
if anything it would be interesting if evolve/wwn becomes developmental for wwe/nxt, and wwe moves along making nxt stand out more as a 3rd brand more then it being seen as development. i wouldn't be surprised to see more talent work nxt shows this year, like Timothy Thatcher and Zach Sabre jr.
you also have to remember they are going to keep some guys around in nxt because they are making it a fully running 3rd brand ( not that it already is) by 2016. Nxt has stopped being " developmental" for some time now though. theres already talk of the nxt title being defended at wresltemania.
in the recent conference call , hunter said the plan is to make nxt a full running 3rd brand in 2016 , more speical events, and some more traveling across country / world. there events in the uk have been sold out for a while. he also admited to having talks with new japan , maybe having wwe work with them with nxt? you'll see more vetren like guys like you have with rhino and storm , and maybe even more down the road since these guy are working out pretty well. tommy dreamer has even made appearances in non tv events for nxt.
tna already worked with fox , i believe fox sports aired the original pre spike tv tna show. and it did really low ratings and wasn't able to sell. and i highly doubt you would see espn do wrestling.
well i think he has a couple things going for him , i think he speaks english , which i don't think the original cara spoke english that well, and kalisto worked in nxt for a good amount of time.
if they don't stay with spike tv what other network would they go with?
I'm curious if he kazarian would go back to wwe , it was intresting he didn't want to cut his hair in wwe , and now he has short hair.
