The ones she presents to the public or the ones she holds in private?

Helen

I think the political elite would be surprised how many women agree with many of her sentiments on late abortions, especially since it is now possible to get a positive result the day after conception.. It's not the message at fault here, but the delusional vessel in which it is carried.

Szwagier

From what I've read recently (http://www.adamwishart.info/2011/03/23weekbabies-the-price-of-life-the-evidence.html), there's a 9% chance that a baby delivered at 23 weeks will survive, and roughly a 1% chance that it will survive without disability. Furthermore, doctors and scientists seem to be coming to the conclusion that they've reached the limits of what nature can do in keeping babies this premature alive. If there's as much as a 1% chance that a baby at that age can survive, I'd say there are good medical grounds for discussing the abortion limit, without tearful references to 'murder' and the like. Of course, this is irrelevant to the discussion of Dorries' lies and misstatements, but let's not let our feelings about her policy suggestions cloud our judgment about what kind of person she clearly is. Off-topic. I'd say god shows a very selective love of triers - millions of them die every year despite how much they try, and tens of millions more live in abject poverty and misery regardless of their trying. Funny way of showing love...

Helen

She lost any interest I may have had, once she told us she was on a mission from God. Doesn't she think God can speak for herself? Or would the answer imply she doesn't really exist?
