I usually try not to get to that state, but if I'm there, you know I reach for that coke.

Madfall

*Shakes head sadly* I know this was written by an American and let's face it, you guys think 2.5% beer counts as alcohol so your judgement is highly suspect. All the Europeans who actually know something about drinking forgive you, we know you'll learn someday. So the cure for a hangover is...finish the bottle of wine, drink the last bottled beer, or have a quick shot when you get up feeling rough. Then go back to bed for a couple of hours, problem solved. #tongueincheek #europeanpsa

Not like, the pain portion of it, but the part that comes after the pain, the headache, the nausea. When everything is kind of dull and moves a tad slower than it should. I find it to be a great state for reflective thinking. Sometimes I wonder if I ever binge drink in order to actually get to that stage.

Get the pedialyte pops and keep 'em in the freezer! #freeziesFTW That said I never thought to consume it prior to bedtime. I will have to try it!

Crap, I can't remember - one of those two). She says it's the best hangover preventative. If I ever try it, I'll let you know if it works.

Before going out, have a Berroca in a pint of water. When you've staggered home, hardly able to see, have 2 ibuprofen, with a pint of water. Go to sleep. Ta da! No hangover, even if you couldn't walk the night before.

That shit will damage your liver and you'll end up needing a transplant. Otherwise, thumbs up from this lady with a hangover. I should wake Mr. H from his slumber so we can hit up dirty McDonalds.

doctorzizmor

My method: Start out by chewing gum. Winterfresh is cheap and does the trick. Guzzle some Gatorade. Chew more gum. Watch TV. Muster up the energy to get some breakfast. Grease required. Presto. Cured.

boobookitteh

I find there are 2 good ways to treat a hangover. The first is to have a mighty puke before you go to bed - although this is actually prevention, not treatment. The other is super greasy fried eggs the next morning. Ice cold Coke is essential also. I recently discovered Mountain Dew will do in a pinch. But it needs to be the real stuff - no diet. I keep a little Mexican/Passover Coke around for impromptu nights out. Seriously, though - drink it with lots of ice or it won't work.

Dürer's Rhino

Mine is a little different and unfortunately doesn't include weed since I broke up with it years ago. I do the following when I've had too much, which is rare these days: -16 oz water before sleep. -set alarm for 6 hours. -get up when alarm goes off. No excuses, get up. -take two aspirin, ibuprophen, or naproxen, and a B complex vitamin with at least 16 oz water -eat a piece of bread or two, especially if your stomach is sensitive to the tablets you just took. -take a brief, warm shower. Not too hot or too long or you will get dizzy. -go back to bed for at least two hours but no more than four. You won't be 100% the next day, but you won't have to be couch-bound unless you want to be.
