@Al__S

Not sure how relevant it is, but I do find it interesting that the same company the publishes BoS owns the ever-illiberal, somewhat right-wing, anti-bicycle Cambridge Evening News, sold in lefty-liberal-bike-loving Cambridge. Now, a bit of searching reveals that Iliffe family are, in fact Tory party donors. This is no evidence of conspiracy, of course. However it perhaps should form part of the record. After all, were any of the nationals involved, we'd note the political affiliations of their owners.

Andrew Walpole

BOS was briefly interested in doing a story about Dorries corruption but a reporter who I had dealings in the past was involved who I believe is quite useless. I handed BOS a story a year ago about how a parish council had covered up around £20000 of wasted money attributed to a personal feud, this reporter didn't bother to research it, probably involved more than five minutes work. Such a shame, Frank Branston used to run this paper and it used to go for the jugular every time.

Hmmn

Easy suggestion for Beds on Sunday. Why not at least raise the legitimate question of why Dorries employs her daughter on the highest salary grade (office manager / executive secretary) despite minimal previous experience. Follow up why is all correspondence diverted to the Constituency office when the highly paid "office manager" works in parliament? ie who is managed and what role does she perform?
