Fucking driving cross country for the second time in 6 months. Holy shit - just went through Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah and part of Nevada. I want to fucking drink myself to near death. There is nothing. At. All. Hardly any people. And nothing more cultural than a truck stop. I remember 17 years ago, my 9th grade social studies teacher (who I am friends with on FB now and would totally still bang) told us that the United States would run out of land for people to live on by 2025. Total fucking bullshit. We could fit another 2 Billion fucking people here.

Ok - I promise not to make another comment about That Which Shall Not Be Named after this. For those of you who haven't been following the Lara Logan post, many of the comments were absolutely disgusting. Hamilton Nolan appeared shortly before 11.00 pm and began reassigning a vast majority of Neanderthalesque comments to #stupid. The thread looks very sad and lonely, now. Even more interesting, I watched one commenter lose his/her star at the hands of Remy. Within a matter of five minutes or so, it was restored. Denton's ghetto comment was, indeed, a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I imbibed far too much caffeine earlier today and I still haven't come down off of the high, five hours later. I'm wondering just how the hell I'm going to sleep tonight. Actually, the notion of coming in and teaching HTML to my students whilst hungover from lack of sleep is a high-larious thought to me. I think I'll go have some more caffeine.
