Barr is in for a rude awakening. While he's in bed with the Evangelicals, NOW, as soon as they've used him to force their extremist minority agenda, they'll turn on him, too. Evangelicals consider Catholicism to be idolatrous Paganism. If the Evangelicals ever achieve their objective of nullifying the Constitution, Catholics will be declared Infidels, and all we have to look at is the Spanish Inquisition, the Salem Witch Trials, or the Taliban to see how theocracy deals with Infidels. Additionally, once Church is no longer separate from State, the State will become vulnerable to Theocracy based on OTHER religions, including the Islam these Evangelical Theocrats are so desparate to ban.

To those who want to jettison Separation of Church and State, so we can legislate from the Gospels: the Clauses, laws, precedents and traditions that keep you from turning your religious beliefs into law, ALSO keep OTHERS from turning their beliefs into laws, INCLUDING those beliefs that you so often oppose: Islam, Paganism, even Satanism. Eliminate separation, and a Satanic-dominated Congress could impose THEIR beliefs on YOU. Pagan textbooks? You'll make that possible. Shariah Law? That'll be YOUR doing. Separation of Church and State doesn't just keep me from having to obey YOUR beliefs, it keeps YOU from having to obey MINE.

The longer the repressive Trump team stays in place the further Left will be the reaction when it is over. Communism came trough internal actions in few places -- Russia, China, Cuba, The Indochinese Lands (of Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos). The forces which brought Communism to those countries were Right Wing regimes, often supported by religion. Before the 1917 Revolution Russia was run by the nobility with the aid of the Orthodox Church which helped to keep the workers and the peasants passive and poor. When the frustrations could no longer be kept in check the swing to anti-religion and Communism were inevitable. Te repression was terrible in China also, and China might have gone Communist before WWII had not the Japanese invasion delayed matters by a few years. The Batista regime in Cuba also made Communism there almost inevitable. What comes after Trump will be a dramatic swing to the Left. I am 79 years old, and I am not certain to seewhat comes after Trump. Toward victory always!

Rich districts get more money. Most private schools are religious. You obviously don't know the first thing about American culture. We all want a good education for our children, the public schools have failed miserably in the USA. They only want a small portion in the form of a tax credit voucher to help defray the cost of private schools which are very successful in our country. Why shouldn't they get a small amt of their tax dollars back since they are saving the government a great deal of money by educating their children in private schools that the families pay for themselves. Our government taxes pays over $5500 dollars a year per student for a piss poor education and then parents have to pay an additional $$3000 to $20,000 to actually get a real education for their child. Why should they have to pay twice? Now my thought is to enroll all the children in public school at the beginning of next school year, then I'm fairly certain the government would be more than happy to write those tax credits then.

I have been closely watching policies at the DOJ since people like Sessions and Barr have come along. I think we will survive this guy. He's gonna die at the younger end of life expectancy. Overweight. Likely a bad diet. Heart disease should handle him fairly soon. There are way more secular people than any poll indicates.
