Actually, I should add to that. I ummed and ahhed about listing you as condemning the action as you clearly think equating homosexuality with paedophilia is not on... but at the same time you also thought we were getting a wee bit worked up about some aspects of the podcast.Short version: I didn't want to speak for you in a way that could be misinterpreted.

I stopped short of a condemnation on the grounds that I am prone to make extraordinarily bad taste jokes. I wouldn't equate homosexuality with paedophilia, but people in glass houses, etc...DK(Ugh, I know that you're a fan of this stuff, Manic, but I hate registering on this kind of thing. It doesn't matter how many times they deny the fact, one always get crap spam of one sort or another. Plus, someone already has my username. And for all I remember, it might be me.)

Yes, Iain is gay.Under comments on his website he now appears to be claiming that nothing I write can be trusted, which is why he has so far failed to condemn this campaign of harassment (presumably he's suggesting that I made it all up in order to harass Anne Milton) or any of the blatant homophobia behind it.Just one reason why I included a link to video evidence showing the attitude of the author of that attack blog. Given that Iain Dale has almost given up blogging on Iain Dale's Diary and lazily handed it over to guest bloggers, shouldn't they decide individually whether to ban someone from commenting?

Good grief that's horrendous.But have I read the comment exchange right, is Iain Dale himself gay? Or have I mis-read that?The only way it matters is that if he is then that makes he acceptence of the extreme tactics used by his associates even worse, as ignorance and bigotry is one thing but tactical use of abusive material is another.
