There are so many OTHER issues that Pastors should be concerned with rather than standing against marriage equality... They have grown accustomed to people who have married more than once, who have had sex outside of marriage, or who have children outside of marriage... all that's ok cause it HETEROSEXUAL behavior!! When are they (we) going to get it, that the whole purpose of ministering is to win lost souls to Christ... It should not matter whether its a straight, gay, black, white, transgender, transexual,or whatever .. Our job as Christians and pastors are to win souls for Christ... Preach the gospel of salvation, not the doctrine of man.... dont worry about the person adhering to a set of church beliefs or rules, teach them who Jesus is,and show them HIS LOVE!! Then if they are convicted of a sin in their life Let GOD handle it... He can do a lot more through his spirit than we can trying to MAKE someone be something other than what GOD has made them... Christians, and Pastors have driven SO many People AWAY from Christ by being too judgemental and staunch in their "stand" on issues... Young people have committed suicide because they felt there was NO HOPE for them because they are GAY... Marriage equality... If everyone would just quit fighting about it it could be as simple as anything else to ALLOW two people who want to commit to each other, the right to do so... That is all it is... Yet its been blown way out of proportion by media and society that its evil or wrong to feel love for someone. All this hoopla and squalking against it is only gonna cause more pain and hard feelings, when the supreme court rules and hands down a decision that ANY PASTOR MUST perform a same sex ceremony! If it were being handled correctly then same sex couples could go before someone who has no problem performing the ceremony rather than trying to force a pastor who opposes it to do so. God Is BIGGER than all this... there are so many other things that should take priority than than who wants to be with who... I truly hope the fire burns out and people realize the true need here in our nation, and let each other just be who they are!

I am not a big fan of Beck, but here are a group of people with complete lack of understanding concerning the concept of being willing to die for one's convictions. I hope that no one is ever faced with "conform to this LGBT belief or be killed" (maybe that would wake a few people up), situation but if it should happen, then "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" - Msrk 8:36 Roman 1:23, 24, and 32: "Professing to be wise, they became fools...Therefore God gave them over in the lust of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them...and, although they know the ordinance of God, that that those who practice such things are worthy of death; AND they not only do the same but also give hearty approval to those who practice them."
