I'm not sure we have any evidence for that do we? I need to refresh my memory but didn't Mr Fox claim to live in America? But as you say, who knows what level of lying is acceptable for "pen names".

I was under the impression that 'Sebastian Fox' was a pseudonym reserved for his wife, but one can never tell with so-called 'pen names'.

I feel that the Sebastian Fox angle has not been explored enough. I presume there is no such person and that it was another Shapps alter ego. And yet "Mr Fox" registered internet domain names and was carrying out all kinds of internet activity for many years after Shapps became an MP. Is Fox just an innocent "pen name" too, in which case why won't Shapps admit it? If Fox isn't Shapps, then who was he and where is he now? You can't just have your business partners disappear in puff of smoke

Excellent post and research, Tim. The HowtoCorp.com domain name was registered in 2002 to a Seb Fox. How to Corp Limited the UK Ltd company was only created in March 2005. Yet Michael Green was boasting about the enormous success he had had online well before 2005 - so why not set up a proper limited company (very quick and easy to do) until 3 years later? What was he prior to 2005 - a sole trader? A lot of his products seemed to be implying that he had made a fortune online and if you just paid him a big wadge of cash, he would show you how to do likewise (as many "internet marketers/ get rich quick spivsters tend to do). But how much money did he actually make online? Prior to 2005, hard to tell - but from 2005 he will have had to submit accounts to Companies House and these will detail how much profit the company made, how much was paid to him in salary and dividends etc. http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk//wcframe?name=a... See http://www.welhat.gov.uk/article/2056/Parliamenta.... In order to be validly nominated he was required to sign that form and to say it was an accurate description including an accurate name.
