On a regular basis I see women trying to maintain or bring about this ageless Asian skin phenomenon. This is done primarily with large hats and face visors. I'm not sure how widespread this face visor trend is but it's not exactly a good look. My mom is one of those ageless Asians (early 70s, but looks like she's in her late 40s) blessed with almost flawless skin. Just genetics. Of her two kids, I was the one who inherited it (to my sister's disgust.) In one of my two TV appearances (for a Canada City game show), I was sent to makeup and the makeup lady put a powder puff to my forehead and said that's it. I was surprised. She said that if everyone had skin like mine then she would be out of a job. I laughed. She looked at me seriously and told me that models would skin me alive for skin like mine. I didn't laugh. No man really should hear that. An ex of mine asked me how I take care of my skin. She nearly cried when I said just soap and water and when I was young and stupid how I shaved my face with cold water.

I sympathize with alot of crazy beauty treatments and the measures people take to "even skin tone", rid themselves of wrinkles and sagging and jowls, acquire "nice" tits. I really do. And I know running my fingers under my eyes when I wake up helps get the circulation going and drains some of the fluid that's pooled overnight, so I won't fully discredit physical manipulation. But I'd still like to know where and how this woman thought, "Hey, I can reasonably charge people $350 for this." I can slap my own face, damn it. Here's another video testifying to the method.
