Malachy is our new Mop Overlord. I've had pugs, which are really just Pekingeses with a haircut and non-dwarf legs, and they are the happiest, most adorable, most clownish, and yet somehow still regal, dogs imaginable. And, you know, they don't HAVE to have that ridiculous haircut. Much like poodles, they're cuter shorn.

In all sincerity, Bots' love of Malachy makes me like him so much more. Of course the stock market surges after Malachy does the opening bell. Luck of the Irish! St Malachy was the first Irishman to be canonized as a saint. He came from Armagh, where my grandfather was born; and was responsible for "expatriating barbarism and re-establishing Christian morals" to Ireland.
