William James

It is ironic that after so much death and destruction due to World Wars, the UN was so concerned about limiting population world wide at this particular time. I believe that it was/is a fear based ideology (Demographic Dividend) that influences these population control programs. I, for one, believe in individual human potential and its subset of human capital. More craniums and hearts are better than fewer in order to solve world programs. By some estimates, 1.2 billion humans have been legally aborted since 1920 (Russia). That is a huge loss of brain power and human connection. In my opinion, human civilization has failed to meet its potential because of it.

It is a great pleasure to see this interview with Dr Milton P Siegel, the assistant director general of WHO. He reveals his view on family planning and what WHO thought about it. Thanks for sharing the post. It is really informative.
