Much is said; little is heard and we stand shuffling our feet. When the rhetoric is distilled what remains is the game of power and money. We see "them" has having the money and the power while we spin our complaints over digital and backyard fences. I offer a suggestion, an action really, to begin the journey down the path to a change, something to identify and unite those of us who see it differently. Next April 15 I want you to join me in filing an extension on your federal and state income taxes. Yes. It is symbolic. Yes. They will have already taken the money through withholding or quarterlies but this isn't about them. It's a unifying action for us, a weaving of individuals into a cohesive, rich tapestry that will blanket this country and keep it safe and warm for another three hundred years.
