The internet has created a child porn portal that obviously allows it to be spread around like butter. It gives perverts access to it that normally wouldn't have. Technology exists to allow more work in less time with less people. Technology has taken away more jobs than it has created. People also used to talk to eachother in person and on the phone instead of keeping in touch via social networking sites on an hourly basis.
I remember when people used to visit each other and call each other on the phone instead of just looking at their facebook wall.
I'd gladly trade the internet for more jobs, more personal encounters, and less perverts and child abuse.
No one wants to come to the United States to make life better for us... they want to come here either to take advantage of opportunities and ship the rewards back to their country, or to terrorize us. We need to tighten up on who gets let in to our country folks. It will be a much safer place for us all. Also, we have our own employment problems, lets hire Americans and get people back to work.
RIP... Thoughts to the families. What a horrifying way to go. I hope he didn't suffer.
How about when the police get busted for steroid use like in Kalamazoo? It makes you wonder then if the cases where the officers have been accused of being overly aggressive or abusive, if that really was the case due to roid rage. If society is going to work as everyone seems to want it to, the police have to be top notch citizens. Unfortunately, police officers are human and being so, succumb to the same temptations that the rest of us face day to day.
BE CAREFUL OUT THERE! Make 100% sure there is no one coming if you are turning on red. ESPECIALLY when the visibility and road conditions are less than optimal. Nearly 100% of car-car collisions could be EASILY prevented if people just paid attention.
That means stop distracting yourself with make-up, cell phones, swatting of kids, tacos, burgers, cd's, cigs etc.
Being gay isn't for me, but I feel that it is not my place to judge who other consenting adults love and have relationships with.
Terrible tragedy. Thoughts to the families. Amazing that the 10 year old boy survived.
People don't take having children seriously enough.
I like the roundabouts on Wealthy St., except for when people don't know how to use them. When the drivers understand them, they work awesome.
