part 3/3
After looking at both sides of the story then you have to weigh the issue on an imaginary scale to decide the outcome. So in conclusion I believe that immigration is evenly weighed on the imaginary scale so it is in the middle of a good and a bad thing. Society obviously believes that the scale is tipped toward the negative aspect of the situation which is the answer to the question why does society dislike immigrants and why are they portrayed badly.

part 2/3
I bet most immigrants are illegal but I don’t know that statistic for sure and hope it wasn’t covered in class because then I must have missed when it was said. So I am not into politics but I guess I am all for border control. This information is just what I have heard plus adding my opinion so some of it could be false. Rather than focusing on the negative aspects of both types of immigration I mentioned, you also have to look at the bright side of this matter. Having all these different backgrounds in one country gives a great diversity of culture. It gives the natives a better chance to learn different languages which can be helpful for travel and other things. Our economy is boosted with all the jobs being filled and even some are created probably. So the moral or theme is you will is to look at the pros and not just the cons of things in life. If you just look at the cons of things then you are being a pessimist.

Society does not like immigrants because they are not they are not native to wherever they immigrate to. The correct term is that they are not indigenous. Then before you know it, your country is overpopulated. A land can only hold a certain number of people. It cannot fit everyone due to capacity like on elevators. Another thing is that immigrants might not know how to speak English which creates problems. Instead of printing only English we now need multiple different languages on direction, manuals, instructions and such. Those recorded phone calls have to be spoken for everyone to understand. Language is just a minor issue though compared to the job hunt. Immigrants could be filling up all the jobs so the people who have been living here all along don’t get the jobs because none are left. Even the ones who are better qualified will not get the positions they deserve if you know what I’m saying. Don’t even get me started on the illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants are an even bigger problem and they are the part of the reason why society is not to fond of immigration in general.

College is a great chance for minorities because of affirmative answer which is another topic we covered in this same class. I do not know how the two connect though. Actually one reason when I would turn down nepotism benefit is when I am already rich and do not need the benefit as much as the less fortunate do. One thing to keep in mind is that life is not fair. Things do not just fall into your lap and you cannot just rely on nepotism to get by in life. Hard work is definitely needed as a backup in life which is why everybody needs to make sure they do well in school. That’s what I mean when I said about the gateway. Getting into a good school and then trying hard will make you successful and set for life.

. I fear I won’t have this kind of luck with a real job after I graduate. So the verdict is social good and anti social bad. I would never turn down a situation if it presented itself because every advantage counts in life and you just take those kinds of things without asking any questions. However once the situation is presented to me then I could always share my benefits with others and those in need. That is a good way to make sure everybody wins. Sharing is caring which is a phrase that I am sure everyone has heard of. So greedy people should learn not to be selfish. Nepotism does not just work on jobs. You could also benefit by getting into college and then college turns into a gateway for even more nepotism. Small opportunities can turn into even bigger ones at any moment and that is precisely why you cannot turn down any situation that presents itself even if you feel guilty.

Nepotism is all about the people you know but it can be unfair for many people. Nepotism is a big deal when dealing with jobs and careers for instance. On the plus side you might know someone on the inside who could hire you no problem. On the negative side someone who is more qualified for the job could lose their chance of being hired. That analogy was mentioned in class. It’s a bias that can benefit people or no. that is why it is a good thing to be a social butterfly, unlike me, to know lots of people. Probably everyone benefits at least once from nepotism. For me I was have a neighbor with a job I was interested in. She did not really have much power as an employee, but she was able to put in a good word for me when I submitted my application and thus I got the job I wanted which was at a movie theatre where I got to watch free movies.

The whole thing was fine with me because I’m not even Christian. But to put myself in to the shoes of their religion it probably not a nice lecture to sit through for them. Then again Sam sent an email before the lecture saying he is not attacking them. So it is safe to say that their was a truce between the students and the teacher. Sam probably just said that the Christian invaders lecture was so good because he had such an awesome time teaching it to us.

Sam probably just said that the Christian invaders lecture was so good because he had such an awesome time teaching it to us. You could tell the whole time that he was super excited and passionate about what he was saying. That kind of enthusiasm is what made everyone stay awake with anticipation of what he will say next. I don’t think anybody walked out of class early like they usually do

I don’t play favorites and therefore no lecture given by Sam is the best. All lectures are equally good to me. This lecture he gave was pretty interesting because Sam blamed Christians in the army for their experience in the war. The whole thing was fine with me because I’m not even Christian.
