Breitbart.com : Pelosi: Oil disaster adds urgency to energy bill

The party of never let a crisis go to waste speaks again. Of course with big oil (BP) giving so much money to Obama I don't think energy bill will hurt them too much.

Big Government : President Obama Should Be Repealing the Capital Gains Tax, not Making It More Burdensome

I think a flat tax would be great. Many other countries have done it with lots of success. A flat income tax with no exemptions would fix a lot of problems with our tax code. I mean right now any family making $50K a year or less don't pay federal income tax. The average income in America is about $50k so there is only a small % of people who pay the current tax.

Breitbart.com : Democrats want border security before legalization

Well it would be nice if they were really about security on the border, but after some many years of either parties worring too much about that its kind of hard to believe them now. The only way to fix the problem is too secure the borders first. Then work on illegal immigrantion. Make huge fines for companies that hire illegals or house them. Then make it easier to come here legally. I say to come here legally you must pass an English speaking class, background check, show you have housing, and a job waiting for you when you get here. If they can meet those things bring them on. I mean you can't advance in the US without speaking english, background check we got enough crime as it is, housing and job well don't want you living off government we got too much of that going on as well.

Breitbart.com : AG: Court challenge possible on immigration law

So the states should make it legal to be here illegally? This makes no sense they are enforcing a law that the federal government will not do themselves. I believe the second admendment may come into play on this and make it okay. The state must protect itself if the federal government refuses. Janet Napolitano cut the funding to build a fence on border so what is AZ suppose to do? Stand there in let this happen let the kiddnapping continue? The people in AZ are for it 70% so how can people who are in Washington know whats best for these people.

Breitbart.com : Obama urges bipartisan effort on soaring deficits

Maybe cut some waste in the budget. That works for most people. The fraud and waste in the budget alone would save a lot of money. Congress says that medicare has a 30% fraud so if you figure that should be at least that much fraud throughout the budget you cut the fraud in half you save $500 billion on our budget just cutting half the fraud out. Of course you can never get it all out. That would be a good start I think.

Big Government : Dodd Bill’s Hidden Target: Community Banks

Of course this is not going to hurt Wall Street in fact it will give them more power and grow them even bigger. If it didn't help them they would be yelling about it. When will people realize the more regulations you have the harder the small businessman is hurt. The small business cannot always meet the new standards and has to close while the big business can just work the new cost into their budgets easier. Sure we need rules and regulations, but let's not get too carried away with them and creating new ones. Fewer regs. and than do something crazy enforce them instead of looking at porn all day on the computer.

Big Government : Chicago Teacher on Tax Hike: 'Give Up the Bucks'

I would say just in public sector ban unions, private sector run your business your way. Really I think just taking government workers off pension plans for retirement and changing it to 401ks would help the problem of run away debt. Government and tax payers wouldn't be funding these government workers for 20-30 years after they retire their salaries.

Okay do these people not know that raising their taxes will take money out of their pockets? I guess they will get to keep their jobs but at what cost to the rest of the state? Wish they could just raised public sector taxes, of course they can't do that. This is what happens with out of control government spending and no one taking into account the future cost. More states should be like NJ in start cutting unions. Every public sector employee should be moved to a 401k plan for retirement and not these pensions. Most private sector jobs don't have pension so why should we have to pay for government to live the easy life?
