I actually went to the Executive Director last year to complain about the horribly evangelistic Christian prayer offered at our organization's Holiday Party. I politely explained that beside little old Atheist me, I knew for certain we had Jews, Buddhist and Muslims in our organization and they had voiced their discomfort. He was completely sympathetic and this year - no prayer! The rumor mill let it be known I was the culprit and I was absolutely cool with that. Not so surprisingly, the only open negativity I've received at work, so far, has been from other African Americans. Makes me proud......

Excellent observations. I've been following your blog for a while now and it has been interesting to "watch" as you've evolved and sort of "settled in to" your non-belief. Very cool.

I just can't take the man seriously. Every time I see him I wonder if he's wearing "magic underwear."
