From a Nebraska Fan:

1. Perlmann may be onto something. He feels that, according to the wording in the contracts, Nebraska and Colorado will owe the Big 12 nothing. He was the dean of the law school before becoming chancellor, so maybe he knows something of the legal wording.

2. Colorado would do itself a favor by getting out the same time as Nebraska. Who wants your team to play away games for two years in the sure-to-be hostile environments in the Texas League?

From a Nebraska fan:

I echo PacificNWBuff's comments. This governor is a jerk! Why would an elected official decide to make such stupid comments?

From a Nebraska Fan:

1. Missouri's governor has to be one of the biggest jerks around.

2. Winners: Colorado and Nebraska.

3. Biggest Loser: Oklahoma. How does a great football and sports university like Oklahoma give up its autonomy and bow to Texas? In virtually every decision made the past weeks, Oklahoma gave up its self-respect and said, "Whatever Texas wants, we'll go along with it."

You probably don't want to hear from a Husker fan, but here goes...
For years Colorado had the sad image of a school that allowed anything. From drunk fans in the stands to the rape.
Now you have a coach who says that's not good enough. I feel, as an outsider looking in, that he can turn things around.
For the game tomorrow, I have been worried about this one since last year. For the past 20 years, the Colorado-Nebraska game has been a hard-fought one, and I assume this one will be. I fear a Nebraska let-down after clinching the North, and I fear Colorado playing with the "we have nothing to lose" abandonment.
I was one of the vocal fans demanding a change in coaches in Nebraska. However, it wasn't the wins and loses here. It was the attitude of head coach Callahan.
As I said, you probably don't want the opinion of an outsider, especially from Nebraska, but I believe Hawkins can repair the program there.

I'm not sure, but it seems like some are complaining about Huskers who have not even posted here.
