DENR office arranging the hikes is quite organized and really friendly. We don't have a pre-arranged transpo when we get there. we just hire a van from Baguio to Akiki jump-off. Coming back to Manila, we just hitchhiked on a vegetable truck - but I would not suggest that because we got stranded in a town there because transpo from Benguet to Baguio in not regular. I think DENR office there requires advance registration. They don't allow too many hikers at the same time and they limit the number of hikers at the summit to watch sunrise - which is very good for safety of the hikers.
