Breaching in discipline in military are usually get demoted by one or two ranks, unless it was a criminal case like murder or attempting murder. Sacking is way, way over the top.

Abdul Razak also told the Chinese to balik cina if they were not happy with him
He also restricted all red IC holders from getting employment, especially the Chinese.

These policies only changed when they decided to recognise China.

Stop glorify him. Why didn't you tell us that Razak also stabled TAR for the PM role?

This case has really damaged this country image badly internationally and those allegedly involved are still walking free and they left behind their sam-sengs to face the music. Whether these two will ever go to jail/hang is another question. Why keep their pictures away from the public?
