Hi Rose. Yes I saw that on all the poetry sites I have been on. I figured couldn\'t hurt to implicate those same guidelines. Most of our members have blogs so it\'s not an issue if they want to post it on their after wards.

Hello Sire. To answer your question, yes they do. We do this to encourage them to write something new instead of just regurgitating something they already have on their site. Our first 2 weeks we kind had an assignment-type submission. Now it's anything goes. The are free to repost on their site in 48 hours and can even say "This poem is featured at Poetic Voices" or something along those lines. There are other sites that use the same guidelines and it works for them. If they want to share something already written, they can share the link with us or post in our forums.
