If someone has medical issues they all know the magic words they have to say and a medical emergency alarm will be sounded and they get to see a nurse. Now at that point it is up to the medical staff. We have absolutely no say in the treatment they receive. All we do is provide them access. And we do that because we do not want to be docked 5% pay for not doing it. If inmates are treated like animals they do it to themselves. Once again, they are the ones who put themselves in prison by the way they live their lives. In prison to end up in a shu program you have to really try hard to get in that. I mean be a validated gang member, kill someone, nothing that an innocent bystander would have to deal with. You need to stop seeing these guys as victims they do it all to themselves. I am constantly amazed that they play the game in prison. Why? Drop out or don't affiliate with a gang and you can be on a yard with like minded felon's. "the green wall" why do you people think we care enough about the inmates to be plotting against them. It's just a job. That's it. We don't care about much more than that... And yes the drugs do come in through family visits. That's the sad truth. That's why I have no sympathy for felon's and their families who harm themselves...
