HELP !!! Jailbreakme is not working ive been trying for 3 days even the mod my i version after about a million clearing cache and everything and restoring about a dozen times all that happens when i slide is the purple galaxy then when i reload it says installer crashed how do i jailbreak my new ipod 2g ?????? plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

cydia shows 3.1.3 and 4.0 and 4.0.1 SHSHs on file
Changes file server to Saurik from i clarified
have 4.0.1 on desk top already downloaded....
so so i want to confirm in order to upgrade i place my iphone into DFU mode and shift restore (windows)
and allow to upgrade? is this correct ?? then of coarse ULTRASNOW to open to tmobile ??

Tethering question plz.... Iphone 3gs unlocked and jailbroken
How can I enable direct tethering ? Before i would just update the fake carrier settings for Tmobile and under the network tab their was a menu to turn it on but on the 3g and 3gs that i have now updated and unlocked i cant seem to get it to work i installed the MMS fix but i see nothing on tethering settings for Tmobile. Any help will be appriciated......

Ok so just to make sure i have a 3GS old bootrom jailbroken
I can no update to 4.0.1 from itunes and then jailbreak and unlock via cydia is this correct ?

trying to gte my mms to work but every time i accesss the data settings i can go all the way in the menus but when im trying to enter the internet2.voicestream.com it closes the window. Ive tryed resetting network settings and reboot after reboot and i just cant edit anything anyone have any sugestions

Ok 3GS question on getting on 4.0 i bought a 3gs unlocked not sure if it was with redsnow or blackra1n...

MB715LL model
8801201 serial (dont know which are the ones that determin it.)
05.12.01 modem

How do I go about to get upgraded to 4.0 on my cydia it shows SHSHs for 3.1.3 and for 4.0 but i dont have a Mac I have Windows Vista
Any help ??? PLZ

Question .Plz. i have a 3gs forced onto 3.1.3 after it crashed. I dont need any unlock just trying to jailbreak , i have my shsh files saved to Cydia. where can i learn how to downgrade. Im just looking to Jailbreak again please any one who can help or reference i tried to look in i clarified tutorials and was not able to find anything and tried going through the blog before posting .

I restore to original ISP and i can activate it but any attempt to jailbreak kicks me to the connect with itunes screen. Can anyone offer any advice???? Ive unlocked many phones and never ran into this ...
