You're ridiculous. And no, cops don't roll dice, I'm not an idiot. There's a reason people go to court though. Sometimes the charges just don't match the events.

I believe I've made it quite clear that I KNOW this man. He ISN'T teaching summer school so YOU need to stop being an immature smart alec and stop pretending you know what you're talking about when you don't have a dang CLUE. And you don't have to have this "criminal" teaching your kids. No one will ever force you to keep your kids in his class.

He wasn't smoking crack or murdering people. It was a SMALL issue in his personal life that didn't involve anyone at or around school or kids or being a complete psycho murderer. People make mistakes. Think if this was YOUR brother, son, husband, child, boyfriend, father or friend. You might have a different view of things.

Do you even know what a "burglary" charge is? It doesn't involve stealing kittens, just to give you a hint. maybe do some research before you spit fire? And again, guess what? It's summer. He ISN'T involved with children right now! And he wasn't hurting children. It was a fight with his girlfriend, you never get mad and fight with your significant others? From what I hear, the whole thing was blown WAY out of proportion and now he looks really bad, but he truly isn't the man being portrayed in the news nor did the charges match the ACTUAL events.

...and just because he has charges being figured out in court, doesn't make him officially guilty of anything yet. I think everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. What ever happened to "innocent until PROVEN guilty"!? And I know Efrain and the woman involved in this very well and I am still coming to Efrain's defense. You don't know the whole story and like I said, I really don't either because I wasn't THERE, but the TWO people involved do and I think their opinions about all of this are really the only opinions that matter. He isn't Randy Sayler. He isn't a freaking child molester! He's a man who made a MISTAKE. I don't believe the district IS gambling on our kids' safety, they are following the FACTS and making decisions based off of those. The school year is over anyways though. You're kids SOMEHOW managed to survive it even though Efrain was working in the schools, so maybe let's stop freaking out now, yeah?

He isn't out of control. He's obviously completely fine around kids. ...and EVERYONE else he works with. Even his court-ordered restraining order was broken because the girl who was the "victim" in this case wanted to see and talk to him again. Clearly even she didn't see him as a threat. This whole situation is something that happened in his personal life. It doesn't make him any less of a fantastic teacher and the news crews shouldn't be brought to school on his LAST day to ruin it for him! This is just so ridiculous!

I have also looked into this case because I was concerned about my child being around someone like the person who has been described in the news, however, after doing my research and actually talking to the people who were ACTUALLY involved, I can safely say that this is completely ridiculous! Efrain is a good man and a fantastic teacher! The kids love(d) him and he has amazing friends and family who love and support him even after all of this (this says something because, wouldn't you ditch a friend if he was truly a psycho?). No one except the two people who were actually involved know the truth about what happened, but after talking to them, I know for a fact that this whole situation was blown completely out of proportion! ....Now a man's career and future are on the line because of a mistake that was NOT as huge as the charges make it appear to be. EVERYONE makes mistakes! Don't judge someone based off of what you hear about them in the NEWS! Of course the news reporters are going to over-dramatize the events and the POTENTIAL charges to make a good story! Even though this story contains zero facts and it's just a lot of words that mean nothing because no one would answer any questions (obviously trying to protect a GOOD man). Has anyone thought that maybe Yakima School District knows the whole story and is keeping this man on as a teacher for a REASON? They're not a bunch of idiots, they know what they're doing! And as chowie99 said, there's more to this than meets the eye and if you don't know solid FACTS straight from the people involved's mouths, then don't be making snap judgements about something you really don't know anything about. I don't even know anything about it since I wasn't there WHEN it happened, but since I do know the people involved and I have talked to them, I can at least say how THEY feel about it, to a point. As well as how I feel. I think people need to realize that this isn't as big of a deal as it has been made out to be.
