Incorrect. Domestic rabbits (like those in the photo) require unlimited hay for proper digestive health; varieties include Timothy, Orchard, oat and Brome hays. See Oxbow.com for more info.

The wire floor damages their feet. Period. So what if they chew a wood floor? Then periodically replace it.

You are missing the point. Wild rabbits and domesticated rabbits are not one and the same.

Look again at the photo - these are pet (domestic) rabbits she is breeding to kill.

Probably over 95% of people condemn what Mike Vick did to dogs (particularily upon hearing the full details of the things done). Just why is it that breeding of pet animals for the express purpose of killing them, in this instance rabbits, is any different from what Vick did?

This 'rabbitry' is quite near to Niwot, BTW, not really by Longmont as it turns out.

And only a few weeks prior to slaughter. Sick.

Jill is spot-on in her comments about this bul*$hit 'rabbitry'.

The cages in the photos are too small for rabbits. The all-wire floors harm their feet and are cruel. The is no evidence of hay, which is required 24/7 for a rabbit's digestive motility and hence proper health.

Your statement about quality of destination restaurant is a non sequitor. The purchasing restaurant does not validate the source.

The article is not "great". It is an uncritical unthinking lazy paraphrase of what the rabbit killer has on her own website, along with other internet stories. Poor journalism, really. Unwarranted free advertising, too. Yes it is well written in English with good grammar. The article is still amateurish, however.

The issue is not meat eaters vs vegans per se. Rather, it's about a reprehensible rabbit concentration camp vs hundreds of people who volunteer to save the lives of rabbits and help place them in loving homes. Literally, without hyperbole, good vs evil.

This has nothing to do with "Boulder sensitivity", but rather is about the senseless promotion of the maltreatment and slaughter of beautiful creatures in the name of crass profit.
