hi, the delegates are chosen in accordance with the club's charter. the doc is dowloadable at the official site ( i think, i got my copy from someone). @martryze: i agree with nzm, its the proposal of having a shirt sponsor that was passed upon, not the actual/specific sponsor itself. whc makes the reasoning of the current fcb board kinda farcical and esp cos before, when rosell was going up against laporta on this issue, he made a huge fuss about unicef not being approved per se. so..

now i'm curious about the deleted comments haha. but just to react to AlegriaDoPovo, catalan politics and barca kind of meshed during certain periods in the club's history and maybe still somewhat so today, so we cant really say that thing here. thats the different thing about barca and in a way its being 'mes que un club' prolly indicates something beyond the unicef/humanitarian thingy.

obviously messi and villa were brilliant and i was torn but just this time my vote will go to dani alves who was a BEAST. have never seen anyone play so intensely and so single mindedly against a former team (which he loves btw) and scoring even! he didnt hesitate putting that ball in, and then his gesture of not celebrating was pure class. bravo, dani.

if you were a creditor, would you pull the plug on a club like barcelona? wouldnt make sense, right? the club has so much economic potential that's probably largely unrealized still. club just needs the right kind of leaders but the thing is, unlike other big clubs barca is ransomed to catalan politics meaning it cannot be ran just like any money making concern. still i wonder what if the whiz kids soriano/ingla had won instead of political rosell? these guys are a good part of the reason we were able to dramatically reverse things financially after the wasteful gaspart years.
