GeekTyrant : First COWBOY BEBOP Script would have cost Half a Billion Dollars to Make

Of course when I say "doesn't look like Speed Racer" I mean, I don't want to be overwelmed with "flashy" sci fi and razzle dazzle on the screen. Keep it the sci fi aspect gritty but not so much up front.

What's bringing the budget up, I wonder? CG and special effects? Or do they actually want to shoot it in space? Haha. As long as it doesn't look like Speed Racer and remains faithfully written, I'll be happy.

GeekTyrant : Movie Review: 9

I got the story pretty easily when I saw it, although much is left open for interpretation near the end. I felt the story was a bit rushed, like just when 9 wakes and within 5 minutes he gains sympathy for- and wants to rescue 2. My only theory for this is because <SPOILER> that they're from the same being, and there's some instinctual connection between them. </SPOILER> Overall, I enjoyed it, and it's definitely worth a watch (despite the fast-paced story). I saw the original short film in theaters as part of THE ANIMATION SHOW tour a few years back, and loved it. The artwork is great and unique and that alone engaged me enough to enjoy this; BTW I wanna see some merch!

GeekTyrant : LOST Producer Claims Show will End Epic TV Storytelling

My silly theory is that the island was where the Colverfield baby was born! As the bomb goes off, the camera pans to a laboratory in ruins except for a large test tube with an embryonic sack, that's hatching! *le gasp!* Lost was a Cloverfield prequel the whole time! And only the USS Enterprise can stop it! Yeah. You know Abrams would've wanted it that way. ;)
