I would have loved that slab of concrete as a kid too. I had a pair of those strap on roller skates (showing my age) and what fun I would have had on that bit of concrete!! :-)

Um - yes I can sing! An unknown fact about me is that in my youth and single days, I used to sing at pubs and clubs around Brisbane. Then it was just around home, but in my 30's I hooked up with a group of mums and dads who loved singing and some were muso's (ex band members, musicians etc) and we used to get together and sing/jam one night a week. We even sang at a couple of birthday bashes. Nowadays it's mostly just in the shower! LOL I'm too shy and insecure to ever do what I did in my younger days. I was much braver then! I do love singing though! ;-)

Oh Trish - it makes me so sad that you have faced cancer twice! How bloody terrifying it must be! Look how knowledgeable you are about all the terminology and treatments. It has become your world without your choice! So many friends made, and so many lost. I followed Jess on Instagram. I admit - I never knew she followed Gersen Therapy and I knew nothing of this therapy. I just saw a young girl who was passionate about healthy living and nutrition. I was aware of the book she wrote 'make peace with your plate'. I knew there was cancer in her past but not what kind or its current status. SO....I was shocked when i heard she had passed away and even more saddened over all the debates I've been seeing on the web and in social media. No-one has a right to judge her choices because no-one but her and those very close to her know what her choices actually were!! I feel so sad for her father and her partner (who she was due to marry this year). Cancer is a bitch for sure. Wishing you healthy and well days ahead Trish. Min xo

Hehe - you'd be a fantastic weather girl. Would you want to be a travelling one like on the morning shows or just a regular evening news weather girl? Love your 'buggar off - just bring a jumper to school tomorrow' comment! LOL That is so familiar. I have the aircon on A LOT lately at home (just MY end of the house where the computer is) and the rest of the fam think it is FREEZING and I do not. I just tell them to go to the other end of the house then if they're cold. Can't wait for cooler weather. I am not good at summer! ;-) xo

Oh I've met Mailer Daemon before too! I agree - nothing works properly and everything kills you. For example as a teenager I was not cool because I didn't smoke so I started smoking. As an adult I'm told I have a filthy habit so after many failed attempts I give up. As a young thing I'm told sugar is no good for me and I should use sugarine in my tea and coffee. These days I'm told the ingredients in sugarine are bad for me and sugar is bad for me and in fact everything is bloody going to kill me. So shoot me now. Life is too scary!!
