In lieu of your "Willing To Pretend Not To Be Annoyed Ever," I recall my favorite/worst break-up story I have ever heard, in which my friend Joel broke up with his college girlfriend by asking, "I mean, I'm sure I annoy you as much as you annoy me, right?" A No-Love Language, if you will.

I only knew this movie in high school as "the one where Reese Witherspoon gets finger-banged on a roller coaster," because all of my sex-crazed friends (not me! Camp Prude 4ever. Or until I was 19.) were obsessed with it, much like the also bad-sex-ideas-to-practice-IRL, 69ing and intense shower sex.

(i finally saw it when I was 30 because of that pitch-perfect It's Always Sunny reference to the chest punching.)

I also remember printing out Television Without Pity recaps of The Real World Boston and Seattle and reading them in the car on long road trips to and from Central Oklahoma to Central Missouri. (Janice and Lindsay BFFs forever).

"Both drunk and in an expansive mood at the same time" is actually how I've gained most of my friends, although there is a certain culling like "Oh no, turns out this person it terrible and I was just lonely and didn't want to go back to my one bedroom apartment," (I'm emotionally promiscuous if not physically so.)

Anyway, it's wound up a 1 Terrible Person: 1 Good Friend ratio.
