Hi your question is outside my area of expertize. However I would recommend that you should visit your local Vet to see if there are any programs that may help deal with that type of problem (I feel sure that is not an uncommon issue). I hope that helps.

Interesting that I now have eight pages of comments - ALL positive! - yet no business has yet asked me to visit them to discuss applying my approach. Please let your OHS people know and encourage them to contact me. Every working person needs their workplace to take mental health safety seriously.

Hi visitors. There is clearly a great deal of agreement with my argument that governments and health professionals need to put more resources into helping mentally healthy people stay that way,

PLEASE tell anybody you know who works professionally in the area of mental health or health generally. It's time to start turning the "Queen Mary" around.

I agree with you. Currently all our resources go into trying to cure people with mental illness (which of course we must do). However if we put more resources into sustaining the mental fitness of healthy people, the incidence of mental illness would gradually drop (as would the costs of mental illness treatments).

The event was an outstanding experience - at times emotional, as you would expect. It was indeed a privilege for me and three other 'listeners' when a few people there did indeed take up the offer to be listened to. . It brought home to me the huge potential of sensitive, non-judgemental, uninterrupted, heart to heart listening in the fight to beat mental illness. Such listening experiences can, as I put it, be the tugboat that can start to turn the Queen Mary of depression around. Let me know if you feel the need for someone to "just listen" and allow you to pour out your emotions to an empathic ear.

I am proud to have been invited to take part in an "RUOK Breakfast That Gives" event on Thursday 13 September 2018 in Adelaide at Damien on Fisher, 123 Fisher Street Fullarton SA. The theme of Paying Forward is to emphasise how you can help others. As well as two key speakers, you will have the opportunity to be listened to by one of a small group of selected "listeners". I feel honoured to have been asked to be one of those listeners. Tickets through www.facebook.com/PurePotentialEvents/ You will be helping the RUOK National Charity.

The intent is to give people ideas of the variety of interests they can consider taking up, rather than a sales market of what they can buy. Thanks for your interest though. :)
