exactly, you'd think one of his friends or family would have the common sense to turn him in, maybe with some prison time he can re think his life and start doing something to give back to the community, even though it would never amount to what he took away.

He's obviously not talking about every single case where a camera isn't rolling. Remember in 2003 when Tacoma police chief David Brame shot and killed his wife in front of their children in a public parking lot? Before that even occurred he was accused of physically and emotionally abusing her, and even further before that he was accused and investigated within the police department about the woman, Sylvia Boskovich that he raped before being made Police Chief. Fellow police officers and members of the force believed her but chose NOT to report the incident to the man who was Police Chief at that time. And they still hired David Brame as the new Police Chief after these allegations. And then what does he end up doing? Murdering his wife in front of their children in a parking lot.

"Following the 2003 shootings, Boskovich learned that the detectives who investigated her claim believed her account, but did not report their views to Fjetland. She also learned that the complaint was not forwarded to an independent police agency as a possible crime. Those factors led her to file suit, seeking unspecified damages from the city."

Obviously even in our state there are departments or single police officers that clearly don't make the right choices or may even be corrupt. Nobody is trying to argue that every single one or even 50% of them are. There is plenty of evidence supporting the fact that yes, we hear and see a lot of incidents of cops making bad choices but of course that doesn't mean that every department or every police officer is like that. Nobody on here is saying they are.
