Can confirm that. Actual SHSH can be saved even on "stuck" phones using TinyUmbrella.

Phonebook SIM.
Sherif_hasim's idea to activate your iPhone using the above sounds great. But where to get one? In Germany? Online?
Sadly enough there is no Radio Shack here.
Any ideas would be appreciated. THX

No, it does not. Just be sure to use tinyUmbrella and then wait for the devteam solution. That is, if u are on 4.01. If not, stay where u are and save your shsh blobs

phonebook sim?
Does anyone know where I can get a phonebook sim?
Preferably in Germany?
I tried all sorts of mobile shops here, they use a different method here now: a small unit with dual sim slots to copy from mobile to mobile. As Sherif_hasim said, it must be a phonebook sim...
Please, any tips, also online, will be greatly appreciated.
