silentgirl1 the only nonsense is your post on here. There are allot of people who were in bed when the storm came through so a tv or radio would not help. To be honest with you they may not even have heard the sirens go off if they were sleeping, but the FACT IS those sirens are there for the purpose of going off for severe weather (tornadoes). They are EARLY warning system which means to answer your question they should be activated when a tornado warning is issued. You are having trouble separating what people are complaining about. Nobody is bashing the response after it went threw they are complaining about the protocol of when the sirens should be activated. read very carefully before you comment or start making random, rude statements.

Hey silentgirlie1 you have now posted 2 cocky comment posts trying to sound like you know what your talking about. You have no clue! You better get YOUR facts straight before you get on here and start telling people to shut up and get a clue. Here is a little info or a CLUE for you!. Also just to let you know you wrong about the radius of the sirens also it is 10 miles!!!!. Do not tell me i'am wrong either because i worked at the plant i have a clue!
