That was also my first reaction, not crying or excitment, but instead, "that's what their going to have to do for the rest of their lives!" Lastly, where were Sweetie Belle's parents. I know Pegasus don't have parents. I get that. But we've seen them before. You're telling me, they couldn't be in the background during the Cutesienera? Lastly, Spoiled Rich was way over the top and stupid to boot. And yes I understand the irony of what I just said. Plus Filthy Rich seemed in all the episodes with his daughter to really want her to turn out well. The first is that Tirek knew about there being three Alicorns, then that means Cadence is ancient. As Tirek knew about Discord, this means Cadence must be at least 1000 years old, if not more. Now at the begining of the episode, it explained each of the Alicorn's abilities. Celestia raised the Sun, Luna raised the moon and Cadence took care of the Crystal Empire. Not that she was in charge of Love, but in charge of an Empire. Now if that is the case, then if I was Cadence I'd be pissed. Twilight after only one year of being a Princess is whining about what her destiny is, and what important thing she's in charge of. If I was Cadence, I'd be saying "B!@#h, I've been waiting over 1000 years to get my destiny and your whining after one." So a little upset about that. But as one of the bronies who remembers watching Gen 1 in preschool/elementary school I did love the call back, and it gives me hope for seaponies in the future (after all if Twilight is in charge of spreading friendship around the world, maybe she needs to teach them.) Great songs and great fight scene. The Rainbow powers were a bit much for my taste, but ehh, at least they went back to normal.
