Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : The 9/12

After observing this web site now for several days, I have come to the conclusion that this whole effort will amount to nothing. There are a few intelligent posts but for the most part its just a bunch of disgruntled republicans whining about Obama. The republican party in its present form is so far left of where it used to be that many of them could pass for moderate democrats by definition. A republican can no longer be called a conservative although there are some conservative republicans left out there. I, for one, will consentrate my efforts elsewhere as this forum is tainted with hate for some and partisianship for an antiquated republican party that needs to return to its roots or just go away. Goodbye sore losers!

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : The White House says the economy is going to bottom out this year.

I dont know if the presidents budget will get passed as submitted, but I truly doubt it. Bashing people and slamming ideas is not the way to handle this. Actions speak louder than words. Email your leaders (no joke intended) in Washington and let them know how you feel. I truly think this country needs alot of changes but I think this "flood" of changes in not the way to go about it. Maybe we could pick one of the 3 major areas of change in the budget and focus on that and let the other 2 "idle" till we see if the bottom is really going to be this year for the recession. We may not like the direction the politicians are heading but we need to come together somehow and get to the other side of this chasm the world is in. We need solutions.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : A Card Check Update

Unions are an antiquated method of obtaining decent employment. Unions are greedy and drive up the costs of doing business. The government, both state and federal, regulate most employment law now and there really is no need for unions. Look at the UAW. Its a bloated, ineffective organization that cant truly protect jobs which is evidenced by the massive layoffs at the big 3. A toyota product built in the USA has more american made parts and labor in each vehicle, at a lessor cost than do any of the big 3. Many big 3 parts are made and assembled in Mexico and Canada. Check it out yourself. there are several websites with this information. A fair wage for a fair days work is what we need to get back to.

Just because Huckabee is a conservative dosnt automatically qualify him to be the peoples president. We havnt had a good conservative president since Regan. They have to want to get back to the principles outlined in this website. Huckabee might be the one but the jury is still out on who might be a fitting president with regard to the principles we all claim to want to see implemented. I think a moderate from either party could pull this off but definitely not a hard liner from any party. I do respect your right to feel the way you do though. At least you have sound ideas and are headed in a constructive direction.

Somewhere on this site, it says that if you beleive in 7 of the 9 principles, then you are welcome to join. Look around a bit and you may find it.

I beleive that all most all things, when pushed to extremes, are bad for the country and the world. To far left or right is not healthy for the country. We all have to be more tolerant of others and get back our "thick skin" so that differences dont enrage us to the point of indiference. Majority should prevail, but that leaves the minority hanging out there. Some have to learn to be good losers and other have to learn to be humble winners or we end up like our current back biting congress and inefective leaders who are more concerned with their own adgenda rather than whats good for OUR country.

I am not a godly person and I am quite happy that way, however, I do agree with the principles of relegion. The 10 commandments contain the rules that our society, and many others, are built around. Atheists and Christians share many core beliefs. I beleive in "to each his own" and begrudge no ones beliefs as long as they hurt no one but the beleiver. To many people think there is only one way to live, but the truth is, there are many ways to live.

This is all well and good and sounds to good to be true and you know what they say about that I seriously doubt if you can find 10 people here that will all agree on multiple topics. The only thing we all agree on is that our government in its present form sucks. Without a quorm on the topics, this will prove to be no more fruitful than the gaggle of geese that scratch in the dirt in Washington DC.
