Great post, but was it really necessary to include a contextual statement for Kruger and Vader? ;)
The next motherfucker calls this a prequel franchise gets punched in the scrote.
"Could this be the spot recently vacated by Mr. Rourke?"
I doubt it, what with them needing someone "Handsome, intelligent and dynamic."
ZING
"director Julie Taymor and her collaborators are still chewing over some key decisions"
Like why the hell they ever thought a Spider-Man musical was a good idea?
Welp, guess I'll be at the Burbank Town Center all day. Freakin' amazing deal. $6 a movie plus the popcorn and drinks all day. Wow. I'm actually really excited.
This joke got stale months ago.
I'm just tired of people going out of their way to proclaim their insistence on physical media, especially in the context of a post/article about digital. That's all well and good, but to me, it comes across as uber-pretentious. Same thing with the vinyl crowd. We get it. You think it sounds better, and it gives you something tangible. Great. Thanks.
You're approaching this as though $0.99 per track is the only way to purchase MP3's, which is obviously not the case. The per-album average on places like iTunes and Amazon is between $8-$10. Obviously you're going to spend more on a single track, because that's just how the business model works. Look at it like buying a physical single in the store. If someone is actually clicking to purchase each individual song on iTunes/Amazon in order to buy the album, I have no sympathy for the money they're wasting.
And that, my friend, is why you're a douchebag.
Auto-start videos really screw with my Google Reader. That said, thanks for sharing. I've been waiting for this sequel for years and am glad to hear info coming straight from the horse's mouth. But yeah, if there's a way we can not get these vids to start playing automatically, that would be great.
