West Ham Till I Die : In Conversation With David Sullivan (Part 6): "We Were the Most Insolvent Club in the Country"

this is completely off subject and out of no where but lately i've been thinking, Brendan Rodgers would be an out standing west ham manager, he plays a great brand of football, gets the best out his players and he has made the liberty stadium a fortris so say Redknapp says no and Allardyce were to be given the England job that is my replacement because i think we would do well with him

West Ham Till I Die : Hammers Olympic Move Lies in Tatters

i think its great news i never wanted the move to the OS, i think a yearly rental is out of the question. if you are a premiership club (fingers crossed next year) you own your own football stadium, because lets face it if they don't allow us to rent one year we'll be screwed, and you know what our lick is like. develop the boleyn sort out the east stand and we'll be fine. you don't need a big stadium to be a big club.

West Ham Till I Die : Carlos... No, He Couldn't, Could He?

yeah because we could do without a premier league top goal scorer can't we, Tevez would smash the championship to pieces and i would love to see him playing in a west ham shirt again. plus the ball isn't always lumped up the field either i think your one of these people that wants to have a moan, but guess what... it ain't gunna happen anyway

West Ham Till I Die : Guest Post: New Upton Park or SBOBet Stadium by Roshi

atmosphere won't be an issue, lets face it west ham have much better support than arsenal, plus if you watch italian football, teams like juventus have a huge stadium yet the hostile atmosphere they can produce is second to none at times. we've been given a new stadium and it's up to us to create an atmosphere. i love the Boleyn ground but the olympic stadium is the future.
West Ham Till I Die : Da Costa Exits, as the Question is Posed: Should We Target Shane Long?

sad to see him go but to be fair all he had was a leap and a good header of the ball, apart from that not that great, positioning, passing and tackles weren't great so not too bothered. completely off topic our new kits are top draw, i love them, well done macron

West Ham Till I Die : Can Oil and Water Mix, as the 'Iron Surgeon' Cometh on a Two Year Contract!

lets be honest, as of the last 2 (long) years our style of play and winning has been like oil and water maybe a change is what is needed. if Allardyce can keep most of the big boys; Green, Hitzlsperger, Ba, Parker and Cole and get us promoted and stable in the league where we belong then I'm all for him. over the past two seasons we have collected a grand total of 68 points and a horrendous -46 goal difference that is dreadful and things need to change, I can guarantee more people will be walking away from a game buzzing after a win then gutted because we didn't play attractive football. Also what everyone needs to realise is our players have had the proper way of playing football drilled into them from a young age, thanks to the academy, so they are still going to want to get the ball down and pass it regardless of who the manager is. if he can get us solid at the back, get players proud to wear the claret and blue and get a winning formulae and mentality then bring him on. Come On You Irons!

one last ditch attempt at Martin O'niell and the futures bright. But who am i kidding that aint gunna happen is it. We've never been able to replace Redknapp, how quality would that be if old Harry and the boys came back to save our club. Sorry my imagination is running wild again.

West Ham Till I Die : Get Lambert, as West Ham Look to Secure Ba!

i think we should try and get mon and throw a lot of money at making sure we appoint him, mainly because paul lambert as much as he is a good manager its in the championship the premier league is a totally different cattle of fish and martin o'neil has proven himself in the league so in the long run he is perfect. He gains promotion to the premiership and then builds in the summer and we have good enough team for a top 10 finish. and i don't think we will get that with paul lambert will get promotion and then a relegation battle the following season. curbs got nothing against the bloke but i wouldn't be keen on him coming back. sam allardyce forget it i would hate to see him as manager we play football the proper way its something we are known for we aint long ball merchants an we never will be. haughton wouldn't be a good one either he didn't have to do any rebuilding at newcastle he had a ready made squad. Out of all the potentially new managers in the frame Martin O'Neill is the best by a country mile sign him up and start to rebuild as soon as possible. COYI

its a real long shot i know but Joe Cole is hinting on a return to be a ''big fish in a little pond'' big Slav as manager and paolo no.2 loan out Ba, Hitz and Parker and get them back when were promoted or in February... sneaky. bring in a striker midfielder and defender maybe a goalkeeper as well. come on your irons! forever claret and blue regardless of what league we're in.
